Text Size and High Contrast
If text in MarketingSecrets.ai is hard to read, you can make it larger and raise the contrast. Both settings apply to the whole app: chat, your Chief of Staff's replies, the sidebar, menus and settings.
How do I make the text bigger?
Open the account menu, the tile with your workspace and your name at the bottom of the sidebar, and choose Profile Settings. Under Text size, pick Default, Large or Extra large. The change happens right away. You don't need to save or reload.
What does High contrast do?
Turn on High contrast on the same page and the app uses darker text in light mode (brighter text in dark mode), solid borders around cards and fields, and a stronger outline around whatever you have selected with the keyboard. Faded hint text becomes full strength. It works in both light and dark mode, so you can combine it with your theme choice.
Do these settings follow me to other devices?
Not yet. Text size and High contrast are saved on the browser where you set them, so they stay on after you close the app or sign out and back in. On a new computer, phone or browser, set them once there.
Does the app follow my computer's or phone's accessibility settings?
Yes:
- Larger text in your browser or device — if you've set a bigger default text size in your browser, or use your browser's zoom, the app scales with it. The Text size setting adds on top of that.
- Increase contrast — if you turned on increased contrast in your device's accessibility settings, the app switches to its high-contrast colors automatically, even with the setting above off.
- Reduce motion — if you asked your device to reduce motion, the app stops sliding and zooming things into view. Loading spinners still turn, so you can tell when something is working.
Can I use the keyboard instead of a mouse?
Yes. Press Tab to move between buttons, links and fields. Whatever has focus gets a clear outline, and buttons that only show up when you hover with a mouse, like the three-dot menu on a chat in the sidebar, also show up when you reach them with the keyboard.
