Web Search
Ask a question and your Chief of Staff goes out, reads the live web, and writes you back a clean answer with sources. No tab-switching. No "let me Google that." The answer lands right in chat.
You don't have to say "search the web" — your CoS picks it up automatically when the question needs fresh information. You can also tell it to search if you want to be sure.
What it does for you
In the chat:
- Answers questions with current information from the live web
- Lists the sources it pulled from — every claim is clickable
- Synthesizes across multiple sites so you don't have to read them all
- Comes back in a few seconds, not minutes
When it kicks in automatically:
- News, prices, scores, releases, anything that changes
- "What did [person] say about [topic] this week?"
- "Is [tool] still around? Who's their main competitor?"
- Anything your CoS doesn't already know from your Memories
What you get back:
- A short, written answer in plain English
- A research card in your Chief of Staff Actions feed with the topic, summary, and full source list
- Citations you can tap to verify anything before you act on it
How you use it
- Open the chat.
- Ask the question — like you'd ask a smart friend.
- Watch the answer come back with sources listed underneath.
- Tap any source to open the original site in a new tab.
- Ask a follow-up to dig deeper, or send the answer straight into a draft.
If you want a longer, more thorough write-up, ask for "deep research" instead — that's a different tool that runs longer and reads many more sources.
If you only do one thing today: ask your CoS a question you'd normally Google, then click the citations to see the sources it used.
