Use Skills
Skills are reusable playbooks your Chief of Staff follows — research patterns, sales scripts, copy frameworks, launch checklists. Attach one to a chat and the conversation runs that framework end to end.
There are three ways a skill gets into a chat — and none of them requires "installing" anything.
What it does for you
Three ways in:
- The Skill button in the composer — the wand icon opens a picker with two tabs: My Skills (yours and your workspace's) and Skill Library (ready-made playbooks). Pick one and it attaches to the chat as a pill. Tap the pill's ✕ to detach.
- "Use Skill" on any skill card — on the Skills page, every card has a Use Skill → button that opens a fresh chat with that skill already attached. Nothing gets copied to My Skills; it just runs.
- Automatic — if a skill has auto-suggest turned on, your CoS matches your message against it and applies it on its own. When that happens, the skill pill lights up so you can see exactly which playbook is steering the conversation.
While a skill is attached:
- The skill runs step by step, asking for whatever it needs along the way
- The output uses the framework's structure, not a generic answer
- Same memory, same documents, same connected apps as any chat
Want your own copy to edit?
- Library skill cards also have Clone Skill →, which forks a private copy into My Skills that you can rewrite
- A fresh clone has auto-suggest off — turn it on in the skill's editor if you want your CoS reaching for it automatically
How you use it
- Open the chat and tap the wand icon in the toolbar under the message box.
- Pick a skill from My Skills or the Skill Library — it appears as a pill above the composer.
- Say what you want. The skill guides the conversation from there.
- Done with it? Tap the ✕ on the pill and the chat goes back to normal.
If you only do one thing today: open the Skill picker, attach one Library skill that matches what you sell, and ask your CoS to run it on your latest offer.
