Manage Documents
Documents are how your Chief of Staff hands you finished work. Plans, SOPs, email sequences, strategy docs, reports — anything that needs to live somewhere you can come back to.
You don't open a separate writing app. You ask, it drafts, you edit. The doc saves itself.
What it does for you
Spin one up from chat:
- Ask for a plan, an SOP, an email sequence, a one-pager
- Your CoS writes the full thing in a structured doc — headings, bullets, the works
- Lands as a card in chat with a link to open it
- Saved permanently the moment it's drafted
Edit it like a normal doc:
- Open the document and edit inline — bold, headings, lists, links
- Ask the CoS to revise, expand, rewrite, or add a section without leaving chat
- Every change saves automatically
- Word count and last-updated time are visible at all times
Keep it organized:
- Every doc lands in your Asset Library so nothing gets lost
- Mark each one Private (just you) or Team (shared with your workspace)
- Copy the markdown straight out when you need to drop it elsewhere
- Every doc keeps a link back to the conversation that produced it
Search and reuse:
- Ask "find the launch plan we wrote last month" — your CoS pulls it up
- Reference an old doc as the starting point for a new one
- Your CoS reads existing docs as context when you ask for something related
How you use it
- Open the chat.
- Ask for what you want — "draft a 90-day launch plan" or "write an SOP for onboarding new clients."
- Your CoS drafts the full doc and shows you a card with the title.
- Tap the card to open, edit inline, or ask the CoS to revise.
- The doc lives in your Asset Library — copy the markdown out anytime you need it.
You never leave the chat unless you want to. The same doc can be drafted, revised, and finalized in one conversation.
If you only do one thing today: open the chat and ask your CoS to "write me a one-page SOP for how I follow up with new leads." You'll have a usable doc in under a minute.
